Blue Mountain Lake is a reservoir in the Arkansas River Valley region near Mount Magazine just west of the small town of Havana, Arkansas, United States. The reservoir was created following completion of Blue Mountain Dam on the Petit Jean River by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1947. The project was primarily completed for flood control, with secondary recreation and fish and wildlife uses.
