Camping in Nebraska
The Cornhusker State’s rolling plains, grasslands, rock formations, and river valley are the backdrop of Nebraska’s 1.2+ million acres of state parks. Some parks offer year-round camping; stargazing is epic, given the dark skies over a flat landscape. Witness the Sandhill Crane migration in spring and fall, or go fishing for walleye, bass, and catfish. Notable stops include Chimney Rock, Scotts Bluff, and Agate Fossil Beds.
