Camping in Alaska
“The Last Frontier” is America’s largest state. It promises vast wilderness and limitless exploration of ~100,000 glaciers, 3,000,000 lakes, river systems, coastlines, and high mountain peaks (like Denali). Visiting campers typically enter via the Alaska Highway, which starts in B.C., for the scenic views. Once in the state, campers will see bears, moose, bald eagles, and whales. Try to catch the Aurora Borealis, which is more visible in the winter.
