I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

“I received an alert for Yosemite, but it was gone by the time I opened the site.” We hear this all the time. Yosemite is wildly popular. As such, cancelled reservations are often rebooked in less than a minute. So, here are some tips on how to increase your chances of nabbing a spot at Yosemite.

Act fast: The moment you receive an alert, drop what you’re doing, and BOOK THAT SPOT. Others want that campsite as much as you do—and the first one there takes the prize.

Upgrade your Campnab plan: The more frequently your scan runs, the faster you can nab that spot. (If yours runs every 15 minutes, and another’s runs every 5 minutes, they have an advantage over you.) Want to upgrade? Let us know and we can help.

Scan for less popular times: The more flexible you are, the better your chances. 4 days over a long weekend in July is a toughy. Change that to 2 days, mid-week, and you’ll likely see your odds improve.

Keep in mind that we don’t control the availability of sites. All we do is scan for openings and alert you. That said, we do see many thousands of cancellations over a season. Follow the advice above, and you stand a better chance of nabbing a spot at Yosemite.
