Beautiful Park - with lots of Walk-in Sites
The lake is beautiful, with lots of hiking trails and a sandy beach for swimming. Campsites are well-spaced with plenty of privacy. If you're having trouble finding a spot during the busy season, this state park has LOTS of first-come first-served sites.
Loops 3 and 4 at Parkers Creek and Loop E at Poplar Point are all walk-up campsites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These sites are not available for advance reservation and can be booked only when you arrive at the campground.
