Hanging Rock State Park Camping

We've tent camped at Hanging Rock many times but discovered their cabins during the pandemic and have visited countless times over in the last several years. They are a great way to visit the park in winter (unless you are a winter tent camper, which I am not). Cabins 1-6 are older but still totally comfortable. 8-10 are much newer and so a little "fresher." The kitchens are well stocked with the basics and the screened porches are great when the weather is agreeable! Bonus: lots of hiking trails accessible right from the cabins. If you are super picky about your mattress, you might want to bring an extra sleeping pad along, but otherwise, a great place to stay and insanely affordable for a family getaway in a lovely park.
