Silver Springs State Park, formerly known as Silver River State Park, is a Florida state park located on the Silver River in Marion County. The park contains Silver Springs, one of the largest artesian spring systems in the world and Florida's first major tourist attraction.

The sites are large and clean. Most are fairly private and separated from the neighboring sites. Large park with a number of trails. The springs and kayaking are great- you have to drive around to the other park entrance to launch. Beautiful water and lots of animals.
Big sites, some with sewer, all have water and electric, good shade, drive trough and back in, buddy sites. Walk to spring is about one mile. Great boating. Gators, birds. Big rigs OK. Look up their website:
