Overview
A brief introduction to Jimsmith Lake
Jimsmith Lake Provincial Park is a peaceful lakeside retreat just 5 km west of Cranbrook. Its 35-site campground sits among Douglas fir and larch trees, with easy access to a sandy beach and swimming area. Visitors can canoe or kayak, fish for rainbow trout and largemouth bass, picnic by the water, and watch wildlife around the shoreline marshes. Powerboats are prohibited, helping preserve the park’s quiet atmosphere. In winter, visitors also come for skating and tobogganing.
