Camper reviews for Point Farms Provincial Park

Terrific for Family camping

Point Farms Provincial Park is located on The eastern shores of lake Huron. We camped here from June 3rd to the 5th. This is a great park for the family to camp in. The sunset's are outstanding. The trails are short, the beaches are great but water shoes are required because there are a lot of large smooth slippery stones in the water. There is also a small playground at each of the campgrounds. Please note, the water is quite cool this time of year.

The campground itself is quite simple but, the greatest feature of the park is that it is in close proximity to a lot of great locations. The town of Goderich is within 7 kilometers and, is an incredible place to visit as the downtown core is quite unique and worthy of visiting. There is a lot of interesting sights to see within town, great places to eat, interesting museums, and the world's largest underground/underwater salt mine is located here. There are also great beaches a long boardwalk and trails located by the beach. You can watch the sunset from the beach and then you can quickly hike up the stairs to a park at the top of the cliff to watch the sunset again.
