Overview
A brief introduction to Holland
Holland State Park is a public recreation area in Park Township, Ottawa County, about four miles (6 km) west of Holland, Michigan. The 140-acre (57 ha) state park consists of separate Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa units on the north side of the channel connecting the two lakes. It is one of the most heavily visited parks in the Michigan state park system. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) estimated 2.4 million day-use visits and 124,624 campers in 2019.
