Laura S. Walker State Park is a 626-acre (253 ha) state park in the U.S. state of Georgia. Located near Hoboken and the Okefenokee Swamp, the park is named after Laura S. Walker, a Georgia writer, teacher, civic leader, and naturalist (she is most famous as the latter). The park's location near the Okefenokee makes it home to many exotic plant and animal species, including alligators, great blue herons, and pitcher plants. The park includes a 120-acre (49 ha) lake and a championship 18-hole golf course with a pro shop.

good park, harassing ranger
The park ranger stationed here saw us setup as he drove around the camp loop several times. He never made it clear our campsite had exact parking boundaries for our rig. The campers wheels were touching grass by about 2 inches to the rear. after completely setting up he told us to move it. There were other campers who he did the same thing to. There are no clear indicators where you can and cannot park your rigs in the middle of the campground. We also pulled our golf cart into our site and made a small indentation into the grass. He came over to our site and stated " we have a land scaping issue." I have never had any issues at any other GA state park until now. But because of this park ranger we will never return to Laura s walker state park.
