Tomoka State Park
Tomoka State Park near Ormand Beach Florida was a very enjoyable place to camp. The campsites were large and somewhat private separated by vegetation. The park has electric and water hookups, 3 bathhouses and a dumpstation. It is a short drive to beautiful Atlantic Beaches, restaurants, and other amenities. The park is located on the Tomoka River and has a boat ramp and canoe/kayak rentals at the camp store. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, going to the Atlantic beaches, and exploring the area. As Florida Senior citizens we received a 50 % discount on the normal camp prices of $24 per nite plus $6.70 registration fee plus $ 7 utiliy fee.
