Like most of the Colorado State Parks, the facilities at St Vrain State Park are outstanding. The RV sties are perfectly level, have 50/30/20 electric hookups, and all those on the South side of the campground have full hookups. There is good fishing in stocked ponds.
But the location of the park is not great. It is only a stones throw from a major highway and an interstate exchange that has a lot of businesses and lights.
St Vrain would be a good place to just stop overnight while traveling, or if you need a place to stay while visiting family in the area.
St Vrain is a gem- beautiful bird watching, new bike paths, friendly staff and close to amenities. It is close to the highway, but once you are tucked in your camper you don't even hear it.
Tell us when, where, and how long you want to camp for. We’ll notify you (via SMS) when a suitable spot opens up at that campground—so you can nab that sold-out campsite reservation!
