Our new parks pages are shitty

I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

We started a directory of parks on Campnab a while back, and are finally getting around to improving it. (I’ll admit that it’s still rough around the edges, though.)

The initial purpose of this was to help campers locate their desired park/campground. Later, we added a bit of cursory information, to make these pages more useful. Our most recent iteration introduces images, improved maps, and information on contained campgrounds. Here’s South Carlsbad State Beach Camping’s listing as an example.

These pages are in progress, though, and notably incomplete in areas. In fact, some pull up inaccurate information and require significant corrections and edits. This is just the nature of building such a vast resource on the fly. We’ve elected to keep it live, while we make it accurate, but that means some janky pages in the meanwhile. ;-)

So, forgive our mess. We recognize that it’s not optimal. That said, in the months to come, these pages will improve significantly. Our hope is that this directory will become a useful resource to help you and all our other Nabbers research and plan future camping trips.
