I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

One of the fun parts about Campnab is in getting to explore some of the amazing parks we all have access to. We also enjoy sharing this information. In fact, I often end up in long conversations with members, in which we trade park recommendations.

Admittedly, we can only spend so much time dishing about campsites on the phone. So, we’re looking at new ways to highlight must-visit parks and bring attention to ones that might get overlooked. I’m not sure if it’ll stick (because it’s a pile of work) but our first attempt to do this is with better park listings pages.

As such, I’ve been working on new content for these park listings. Like I said, pulling this information together is time-consuming—but I enjoy learning more about these parks. I also hope this information comes in handy for others looking to get out camping. 🙌

Campnab’s first Featured Park is Porteau Cove, on Howe Sound’s eastern shore. It features ocean-front camping, diving opportunities, and the ability to go stargazing—and it’s only 40 minutes from Vancouver.
