I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

Just a quick note today as we’ve added scanning for a few more parks and campgrounds. Ontario campers, this one will likely be of interest to you. (For what it’s worth, we really enjoy sharing these little updates!)

As of today, you can scan the 5 parks and 15 campgrounds managed by Long Point Region Conservation Authority (LPRCA). As one of Ontario’s 36 conservation authorities in Ontario, LPRCA covers 2,782 square kilometres and manages the watershed’s natural resources in partnership with member municipalities and the provincial government.

Typically you can book these sites through their booking system. That said, if they’re sold out, you can click on the area you wish to monitor to create a scan: Backus Heritage, Deer Creek, Haldimand, Norfolk, and Waterford North. As always, only book what you can use. If your plans change, please cancel so someone else can reserve those campsites.

That’s all I have to tell you today. That said, I’m doubly-happy this morning, as it feels like spring is upon us! Have a great week and hopefully spend a bit of it outside—watching nature wake from a long sleep.
