I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

As a two-person operation, Eric S. and I are rarely ever away from our desks for long. This is sort of a bummer, as the whole point of Campnab was for us to get out camping. That said, we feel like we owe each one of our members the very best service and support we can.

Honestly, we get a bit tired at times. (I respond to members between 6 AM and 11 PM most days.) While I love helping you out, I sometimes get a bit tired of looking at a computer screen so much—especially when y’all are sending me your amazing travel photos. Me jealous? Well, perhaps a little.

As August arrives, we know that most of you have your camping plans covered. So, we start taking a little time off. This weekend, I got out for some ocean kayaking and hiking. Meanwhile, Eric S. got in some mountain biking with his friends.

My point? We respond to most incoming requests within minutes, and sometimes less. I take a fair bit of pride in this, as we don’t have a call center. It’s just the two of us. At this time of year, though, we need a little outdoor time for ourselves.

As such, please expect some short delays over the next couple of weeks. We will absolutely respond to every single request that comes in. However, we might be on a plane, at a lake, or mixing a gin and tonic. So, it might take a little while for us to get back to you.
