Definition of campground
An area in which people can camp, typically comprised of multiple campsites. These might offer amenities like places to wash, outhouses or toilets, and possibly hookups. Some campgrounds also provide a visitor’s center and a guesthouse. (A campground might be part of a larger park that contains other campgrounds.)
