I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)
Find me:
Of all the parks we receive requests about, Grand Teton is high on the list. Unfortunately, we could only scan some of their campgrounds for new availabilities as they relied on two different booking systems. We couldn’t scan the campgrounds that were set up on Grand Teton Lodge Company’s booking system.
That said, we could and have sent notifications 😎 for canceled campsite availabilities at Colter Bay Campground, Gros Ventre Campground, Jenny Lake Campground, Lizard Creek Campground, and Signal Mountain Campground. Oh, right, we added scanning for backcountry permit availabilities at Grand Teton in spring 2021.
Today we have good news! Grand Teton National Park has transferred all of their campground bookings to the Recreation.gov platform. Grand Teton completed this process on November 27th.
Are you looking to camp in Grand Teton National Park? Start by visiting its listing on Recreation.gov and selecting the campground(s) where you’d like to camp. Then find a campsite that suits your needs. If all those campsites are sold out, we can lend a hand. you can get alerts for canceled reservations at Grand Teton on Campnab.
Grand Teton’s campsites are available through advance reservation. These campsites come available for booking on a 6-month rolling window. (Some sites at Gros Venture and Colter Bay Campgrounds will be held back for reservation on a 14-day rolling basis.)
Campgrounds at Grand Teton are scheduled to open on the following dates in 2022:
- April 29: Gros Ventre Campground
- May 5: Colter Bay RV Park
- May 6: Jenny Lake Campground
- May 13: Signal Mountain Campground
- May 13: Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch
- May 26: Colter Bay Campground
- May 27: Colter Bay Tent Village
- June 10: Lizard Creek Campground
