This park is typical of Florida inland parks with heavy vegetation and good shade. The roads are excellent and the campground and surroundings are well-maintained and clean. There is an excellent folk music center in the park that honors the writer of "Old Folks at Home" (the Suwannee River song that's the state song of Florida).
