Definition of leave no trace (LNT)

A set of outdoor practices defined by the Leave No Trace Center of Outdoor Ethics. The framework of the LNT message is: Plan ahead and prepare; Travel and camp on durable surfaces; Dispose of waste properly; Leave what you find; Minimize campfire impacts; Respect wildlife; Be considerate of other visitors. LNT’s mission is to protect the outdoors by teaching and inspiring people to enjoy it responsibly.
