You can now scan Nevada state parks for campsite cancellations

I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)
Find me:
Campnab members Roger and Jessie asked if we could add scanning for cancellations at Nevada State Parks. (We already monitor national parks in Nevada for availability.) So, we did it! If you’re looking to be notified of cancellations at state parks in Nevada, Campnab can send you a text message when one becomes available.
To book campsites at Nevada State Parks, just point your browser to Reserve Nevada and make a reservation. If the spots you want are unavailable, you can visit Campnab and create a scan to monitor that park—and notify you of newly cancelled campsite reservations.
Still new to Campnab and unsure of how it all works? No sweat! We’ve created a little video that shows you how to set up your campsite availability scan:
Here are some shortcuts to create scans for some of Nevada’s most popular state parks:
- Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area
- Washoe Lake State Park
- Cathedral Gorge State Park
- South Fork State Recreation Area
- Wild Horse State Recreation Area
I’ve also compiled a bunch of links to create scans for other state parks in Nevada:
- Beaver Dam State Park
- Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park
- Cave Lake State Park
- Echo Canyon State Park
- Fort Churchill State Historic Park
- Kershaw Ryan State Park
- Lahontan State Recreation Area
- Rye Patch State Recreation Area
- Spooner Lake State Park
- Spring Valley State Park
- Valley of Fire State Park
- Walker River State Recreation Area
- Ward Charcoal Ovens State Historic Park
As noted, we do also scan national parks in Nevada. Here are links to create scans for those:
- Great Basin National Park
- Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest Headquarters
- Lake Mead National Recreation Area
- Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
We’re always working to keep Campnab as intuitive, accurate, and useful as possible. A big part of this includes adding scanning for new regions that members request. So, if you have ones you’d like to see added, kick us an email at howdy@campnab.com. We’ll do our best to keep adding service for as many regions as we can. 🙂
🙏 Thanks to Brice Cooper for his lovely Valley of Fire photo.
