We streamlined our plan cancellation workflow

I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

From the beginning, we set Campnab up to afford options and flexibility to all of our members. You can buy a one-off scan, sign up for a year, or go month-to-month and cancel in the off-season. This last option is important. The fact is, most folks camp seasonally, and there’s little reason for them to pay for Campnab year-round.

We don’t try to prevent you from cancelling your plan in the off-season. In fact, we encourage you to do so! That just makes good sense. So, whenever you’d like, you can visit your Plan panel and cancel your plan, or, you can do so with a shortcut in your Dashboard.

Here’s a quick video that steps you through it:

No tricks, no questions, no fuss. Just cancel when you wish, and return if or when you need us. (We’re grateful that you do!) When you come back, you’ll find all of your settings and previous scans, waiting for you.

A few members have noted that they had a hard time finding the Plan section of our web app—especially from mobile devices. This led us to implement a minor redesign to make this clearer and easier to access.

The dashboard link in the top right corner of your screen no longer contains a direct link to your Dashboard. Instead, you’ll see an account link that contains shortcuts to all of the main areas in your account (including your Dashboard and Plan screens). Here’s how that looks:

Similarly, we’ve retooled our mobile navigation to allow for quicker access to these same important panels. We also moved these Account links right up to the top so they’re the first ones you see:

Admittedly, these are minor updates, but they should help you better make your way around Campnab.

In the meanwhile, we’ve been doing a lot of work on the backend to resolve little bugs and intermittent wonkiness we’ve spotted in a few booking systems—and the results they produce. This part of our job is tedious and time-consuming, but it sure does help produce more accurate alerts.

Improvements like these only happen because members like you note your concerns. So, if you ever spot anything amiss, please let us know. You can send us an email, start a chat from our website, or call us at 604-683-2250. From there we can look into the issue you’re experiencing, determine why it’s happening, and work on correcting the problem.

Happy camping, friends! 👋
