Eric Karjaluoto

I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

The summer months tend to be pretty hectic around here. Sure, we share some photos from our camping and backcountry trips—and these look pretty relaxed. Truth is that most of these are very short breaks (generally weekends).

I’m not complaining. We chose to be a two-person operation. Also, we’re thrilled that so many campers like you support what we do here!

At the same time, we’re getting older—and sometimes get a bit tuckered out. Once the summer wraps and y’all go back to work, we slow down a little.

For us, autumn is about clearing our backlog, fixing bugs, increasing scan stability, adding new features, and chilling a little. (Neither of us are good at this last part, but we’re getting better at it. 😉)

This morning, I looked at the sun and realized it was a rare opportunity, given the abundant rain in the forecast. So, I ditched my desk, hopped in the truck, and took in a light trail run.

Pictured is my buddy, Pippi. She was super-stoked to be able to run freely—especially after she found a tennis ball. (Somehow, that dog can find a stray ball wherever she goes.)

Eric and I are both going to take in a few more bike rides, runs, and ski trips over the next few months. We’re still working, as we always do, but with a little less intensity. We’ll also respond to every single message you send—it just might take us a little longer than usual.

Thanks for your understanding and support! We sincerely appreciate members like you helping us build our little app!
