I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

I wanted to let everyone know about a small issue we had with scans at certain Grand Teton National Park campgrounds.

Grand Teton National Park is transitioning three campgrounds from a private booking system (Grand Teton Lodge Company) to Recreation.gov. These include Colter Bay RV Park, Headwaters Campground At Flagg Ranch, and Colter Bay Tent Village.

They are already listing these sites in advance of the transition on Recreation.gov. They’re doing so even though they aren’t yet processing bookings. As such, we won’t see any alerts from those three campgrounds via Recreation.gov until they’ve completed their transition.

As such, we’ve removed them from our system until November. We’ve also removed them from any existing members’ scans that included these campgrounds.

We will make scanning available for these campgrounds once the transition to Recreation.gov is complete. These are scheduled to occur on the following dates: Colter Bay Rv Park on Nov. 5; Headwaters Campground At Flagg Ranch on Nov. 13; and Colter Bay Tent Village on Nov 27.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This issue just came to our attention yesterday. Since then, we’ve contacted all members with an affected scan and notified them of this issue.

Please note that all scans for Colter Bay Campground, Gros Ventre Campground, Jenny Lake Campground, Lizard Creek Campground, and Signal Mountain Lodge Campground are still running normally.
