It’s tough to nab a spot at Yosemite

I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)

Find me:

It’s October, which means most campers have packed their tents and sleeping bags away. There are exceptions though. For example, in California, campers are still fighting for spots at Yosemite.

Parks like Yosemite remain popular year-round. As such, cancellations at these parks get rebooked very quickly. This is frustrating, as your desired spot might be gone by the time you land on their reservations page.

Eric S. is working on further optimizing our scanning system. This will help alerts reach your phone even faster. That said, we can only do so much.

A lot of people vie for sites in these popular parks. Remember that the first one to visit the reservations page—and click Reserve—gets the booking. As such, choosing the Campnab plan that scans every 5 minutes will improve your odds.

Also important: when you receive an alert, act immediately—because seconds matter!
