I’m one of the two people working on Campnab. I like to run, ski, bike, and camp with my family and friends. (I love saunas.)
Find me:
A lot of folks are packing away their RVs and camping gear for the season—AND THEY ARE FOOLS!
Sure, the temperatures are dropping and most of us are back to the regular working grind. That said, there’s plenty of good camping to be had.
Also, consider:
The panic surrounding sold out campgrounds? That’s reduced and many parks have availabilities.
Campfire bans? These are getting lifted in some parts and the shorter days make evening campfires even more special!
Those pesky mosquitos and no-see-ums? They’re gone for the year. YAY!
So, keep your tents, packs, and sleeping bags handy. There’s a lot of camping to be done before the snow falls—and perhaps some after it does (for the spirited among us).
